Superwoman Me

I never knew I could look that super good in Superman's super outfit until Lisa sent me this via WeChat.

Lisa wrote," 刚刚小瓜拿出这张卡问我这卡通像清萍姨姨吗?哈!你那么可爱噢!
(Just now little melon took out this card and asked me does this cartoon look like qingping yiyi? Oh! You are so cute!)

This is how I look like in a 7 years old girl's eyes. Not bad at all! I can tell you my face looked even more cuter and cheerful when I received it...:) :) Of course I am flattered and happy, happy and happy that a little girl can see her 45 years old aunt as a cheerful person instead of a crappy old witch that looks ferocious , right?

For fun and curiosity I checked out how would other real superwoman look like in a comic or Hollywood world?
This one is too perfect to be me.
Although I don't mind to have that perfect figure and Diana Rose's hair style.

Hmm...this one.. well... I dare not compare myself with Megan Fox.
If I could, I would have challenged her place on the list of "100 sexiest woman in the world".
I might beat her, you never know, right?

I might consider this one though..  I mean the hair style.
No way I would jeopardize my feminine curve into that muscular look.
Who said a superwoman has to look like a superman?
Conclusion:
I still LOVE Chlòe's version of me!
The correct size and pattern of my glasses,
the big Jackie Chan's nose,
the OK melon haircut
 the round face
.............and the sparkling eyes (although you cannot see the sparkling when they are hiding behind the glasses).

Thank you Chlòe!  :)

Curry fish or sambal prawn?

One of my good friends in Malaysia is kind of teasing me about my new hobby. He wonders if I want to become a farmer because of my obsession of planting lately. I answered him,why not?

I totally understand his curiosity because I couldn't stop myself keep on sharing the photos of my babies on Facebook. I am so excited about how healthy my tomato plants and all my chili babies have grown up to be. It’s my first time to plant something eatable and of course I am proud of my results. Its fun I can just pick the yellow tomatoes and put them into my month directly without washing it after all they are totally organic and not pesticides.

Another friend wondered how I am going to use the chilies because I commended on my photos that this summer my kitchen is going to be hot and spicy. Good question. Its time for me to look up for some curry recipes. As usual, in Sweden, if you want to eat something authentic, you have to cook it yourselves. Talking about food, I am really craving for some Nyonya curry NOW!!! Can't write anymore, I am getting hungry! :( See you again soon...

Yesterday the morning sun at 5 o'clock shone through one of my baby chilies..

I have green curtains that cover all the windows in the kitchen this summer.

Tomato plants that just keep on growing and growing and providing me healthy snack everyday.

WeChat

I refused to use smart phone until last year's September. There were far too many reasons why. One of the main reason was that I didn't have the patience to write sms on the touch screen. I was not good in using the sense of my finger and so it took such a long time for me to sms. (I tried on my girls smart phone, didn't went well). I was so comfortable with my old buddy, Nokia 3310. Simple and easy. Secondly, I was afraid that I would get addicted to the games. Thirdly, the same as the second one...

Then I was totally sold for smart phone after I received a birthday present from my cousin brother, Johnny. He gave me a Samsung Ace for my 45 year's old birthday present before my departure back to Sweden. He wanted me to kill the time at the airport by learning all the functions in that shining  new toy with a nice white outfit.

Today I am totally addicted to this new toy! Playing games, being busy body at Facebook, Instagram, upploading my photos. Whatever bad and good habit you can get when you have a smart phone. Johnny introduced me WeChat in December last year. He said we don't need to text/sms "dao ban si", meaning we don't have to take such  a long time to key in, it was fun just leave a voice message on WeChat.  (Err..Johnny and I are almost the same age, so we are not like the young generation, can text hundred and thousands of sms per day in a fast speed).

Well, WeChat has became part of my communication way with my relatives in Malaysia. We don't have to spend money on telephone bills as the old time. We can "talk" to each other at anytime. Just leave a voice message. For exemple, like Chloe left me a message in WeChat in her cute soft voice two days ago. The voice message was recorded in a few parts. They made that evening a happy day. The only part that upset me a little bit was that I didn't know how to answer her last question. I didn't want to make any promise when I didn't even know what the answer was going to be.. Well, let enjoy this cute little girl's adorable message instead :)

"Qing ping yi yi, I received your letter already. Thank you very much."
"I like the sticker very much."
I read for Ah Ma. I read the whole letter for Ah Ma."
 I know how to read."
"Qing Ping yi yi, you said Ah Ku so cute ah?" (the she was laughing and giggling)
"Qute meh? So fat already!"
"Like Kung Fu Panda!"
"Qing Ping yi yi, ni ji shi yao hui lai?" ("when are you coming back" in Mandarin)

I totally recommend this WeChat! Tried it, Used it, loved it, still using and loving it!

无题

几个月前在一个小镇Härryda Kommun的小图书馆里,看到这么一块美丽的木雕笑容。忍不住一定要知道如果我左看右看它的时候,那笑容是不是还是一样呢?

Chloe's letter

Two months ago I received a letter from my niece, Chloe. You can see she wrote it beautifully with patience.

She is a mature and cheerful 6 years old girl who loves Hello Kitty. I am having bad feeling not replying her letter earlier.

I am like a typically adult's attitude in this modern world , always have something to do with the  social live and routine stuff, and keep on delaying my reply to her. Her mom said she is always very very happy to receive letters from me. So, today, a Saturday with no bookings, I don't have to go work earlier. I told myself this afternoon after I woke up - Today have to reply Chloe's letter and I did it!

Her beautiful and neat handwriting kind of giving this aunt a little bit of pressure. I have to write the same way she did, have to set up a good example too, you know :). Tomorrow I will go out and find something with Hello Kitty again. I want her to put on a big smile on her face when she opens my letter next week. :). Love you, Chloe!

Swinging Mood

Why time has to pass by so quickly? It is so fast that sometimes you don't even has enough time to take a deep breath to deal with your endless variations of mood. Especially a person like me that don't really fully use up my 24 hours, don't really like to schedule every single thing I do everyday. Please don't get me wrong though, I am in the matter of fact a 95% puncture person. (Sometimes that 5% is not controlled by me due to other person, or traffic).
I am just a kind of arbitrary person. When my personal stuff is concerned, I am just doing things impulsively than planning two or three months ahead, well, this was also part of the reason why I ended up in Sweden. If I have thought twice or many times, I might have stayed back in Malaysia for good instead.

However I have been very good in planning my time last week. It was a very busy week, and also a mood swinging week. One funeral and one wedding in the same week. A sentimental person like me didn't really had enough time to deal with the mood changing.

Sadly my sister in law's mother, who I have known her for over 15 years passed away on the 4th of May. In Sweden it normally takes 2 weeks for the preparation of holding a funeral. So in grieving over this beloved elderly's death, at the same time I was excited over one of my good Malaysian friend, Agnes, her son, Jeffrey's wedding. My Malaysian group and my girls were so excited and have been waited patiently for Jeffrey's big day which was already planned and date-fixed one year ago!

So, I was so worry that the funeral would have been fall on the same day as Jeffrey's wedding day. Then I would have to choose which one to attend. If I attended the funeral then I no longer could go to the wedding due to the Chinese superstitious since both families (sister in law and my good friend) are Chinese.
Thank goodness it was not the same day but still in the same week. That was good so I didn't have to make a choice! (I hate making choices although we always have to make choices everyday in life)

The funeral brought back all my memory about my mom's funeral last Thursday. The mourning atmosphere filled the church  among my sister in law's family members and friends.I could feel the pain of their grief when they were crying out loud. Tearing was my only way to show that I was mourning with them too. I was speechless in comforting them. I just felt that they need to cry instead of holding back, so did I.

Then Saturday came. Joyful tear this time when I witnessed Jeffrey cried at the church while he was standing there in the chapel as his wife walked towards him. Jeffrey is like a perfect son in law to all the Malaysian friends who have daughters, that included me too of course. Pity that Jeffrey and my girls are like brother and sisters because they grew up together in Sweden. Our family hanged out a lot with Agnes' family when our children were small. So, there you go, Jeffrey, we are so happy for you that you have found your love, Kathy.

So to sum up last week's emotions:

From tearful, pained, mournful, a sense of loss, doubtful, worried to

HAPPY, GREAT, GLEEFUL, EXCITING, ECSTATIC, SATISFIED (my baking turned up well :P)

This week's homework is to get rid of the unpleasant feelings and KEEP ON the pleasant feelings, YES!

Mona

"Jag älskar Dig, Kära Mona!" (我爱你,亲爱的Mona!)
